Well, happy new year…Its freezing here in the Midwest. All the focus is on Washington D.C. as we prepare for this historical event. Aruba was wonderful. Sunshine…85 degrees and friendly people. We decided to stay a few extra days. We found that we were able to change our flight back and stay at our present resort without too much hassle. We visited a butterfly farm, relaxed, ate wonderful food and hung out at the beach!! We will definately return soon.

You know what its like, getting ready to leave…gotta do this and gotta do that. I am just about packed!! Our only fear is this crazy weather they are predicting for the Chicago area….snow and lots of ice. Hopefully we won’t be delayed.

I just received the statistics from last month, notible sources said over 500,000 jobs were lost in the month of November. They said that this is the worst they have seen in 15 years. Not good.
